Hello! I am Gillman, Gill, Amadeus, or any of the other names you may know me by. I am 20+, use he/she (no they/them). Welcome to my journal.

I am a gillman otherkin with a myriad of other identities that may pop up here and there. While I do talk about my nonhumanity here, this is also a general journal for me where I write about my daily life.

I am currently a senior in college, getting my undergraduate in English and Anthropology. I have been accepted into grad school for Technical Writing, and am excited to start in the fall.

I love jazz, funk, sci-fi, tech, art history, and the old internet.

Here is my library full of nonhuman resources and my personal website

If I mention or talk about a label, I will tag it.
"Journal" tag is for daily events in my life.
"Of the Swamp" is directly about my personal experience as nonhuman. Most posts will fall under this, but not all of them.

Godbwye.

Welcome!

>> Hello! I am Gillman. Welcome to my journal. <<

[community profile] newcomers has lots of resources about how to use Dreamwidth and where to find things you'll enjoy here. If you're coming from Tumblr, [personal profile] soc_puppet is posting tutorials for that angle. Find your Tumblr friends here.

The Follow Friday Master Post has lists of active communities by topic where you can look for some based on your interests. Many bloggers use recurring posts to pin down their key interests and maintain activity, which is also a good source of inspiration if you aren't sure what you want to post yet.

>> This will mostly be about my experience being nonhuman, but there may be some other bits here and there. <<

If you haven't already found it, there is an otherkin followpost here.

Communities are good for that -- you can just subscribe to ones you want to read, and never post. In fact there's a handful of communities that are meant for that, where only one or a few folks have posting access. Most newsletter comms are like that. Bulletin board comms usually let anyone post announcements, but most folks just read.
