'Well, there are paper wasps nesting there on the ixora plant, you see, and they can become quite prickly if disturbed. They've been living with us for three years now.'

'The paper wasps used to nest inside the vacuum-cleaner cover on the balcony, but interestingly, after Cyclone Mandous in December, the majority of them moved to the ixora. I don't know why.'
'How many are there now?'
'Oh, I think about forty wasps. I recently had to apologize to two people who visited to do some work in the apartment. Though I had clearly warned them about the ixora, they nevertheless disturbed the nest and one of them was stung rather badly on the hand. It was necessary to explain to them that they must not blame the wasps.'
'How did that go?'

to be honest
do want to get back into vintage story at some point , just not sure if want to continue world or maybe start over . progress is much harder than minecraft ( obviously by design , not complaint ) so start over would probably frustrate , but ...
see , have this thing about minecraft now that really prefer to build in creative to then play in survival , and did that with vintage story world too - not initially , did build first iteration of house in survival mode , but then get really frustrate with lack of space and swap to creative for expansion . all of materials and items still obtain through survival , just add more house space in creative .
but that is sort of problem . want to know and experience what vintage story have to offer , but already impatient and struggle with pure survival gameplay in minecraft , on easy difficulty . and remain relatively spoiler free of vintage story even still , so do not want to like ... accidentally ruin experience because accidentally create knock-on effects from this , somehow . there was already one noticeable knock-on effect - time still pass , so things will still rot and decay even if in creative . >_>;;

another website addition !
not really any world screenshots so far , still have to actually sort through all of those and decide how to keep things , but build index is also still there - just figure make sense to keep that separate from main world tour stuff . visit macinaalo index to see actual world , see build index for proper breakdowns and rambles :P
really , world tour screenshots could very , very easily balloon storage way out of control , so want to be careful about what get proper showcase . have to keep good amount of storage for other sections of website too , and only have 1 gigabyte - in current state , entire screenshots folder for this world is 1.3 gigabytes !

What is Instinct?
Statements from individuals claiming that my animal nature is not a reason for socialization difficulties consistently provoke irritation in me. "You are in a human body, therefore you must behave as one." I have heard this phrase countless times from my mother and frequently from others as well. With ordinary people, I can comprehend their perspective. Accept it? No. However, I can certainly understand it. The last individuals I would expect to hear this from are therians. Who, if not they, should understand what it means to be a wild animal among humans, confined in a human body? Yet, this is where I have most often encountered such remarks in recent years.
What has always depressed me about the therian community is that many appear to underestimate the biological foundation of instincts, yet insist that all my behavior must be entirely under rational control, as if I could simply activate a switch. This is not how it functions. This perspective is not only naïve but also disregards biological reality. In this essay, I aim to explain why. To clarify from the outset: there will be no magic, mysticism, or romanticism here. Instinct is purely biological.
Let us begin with basic definitions. What is instinct? Instinct is a complex set of heritarily determined behavioral acts, triggered by external or internal stimuli and aimed at fulfilling essential biological needs. This is how science defines instinct. minecraft ~ no-iron rule set
just put this up as website page - no-iron rule set for minecraft . well , actual rule is very simple : can not use items or blocks that contain iron , whether personally craft or naturally generate . but this have lots of consequences on what is or is not possible anymore .
some of these consequences harken back to older versions of minecraft , before certain items exist , and may feel nostalgic oldschool . others completely change progression - must create first diamond pickaxe through trade and loot , for example , and will probably go armourless for long while unless willing to kill ridiculous quantities of cows and horses to constantly upkeep leather armour .

Bundle Of Instincts
Today I am so on edge.
The people I live with are having company over tonight, which I dislike a lot. I hate strangers being in my territory. I’m having growling urges just thinking about it. I know… two (?) of the people coming over. I might just camp out in my room and play my comfort game (The Quarry). It’s funny to me that it’s considered a horror game, I don’t view werewolves as scary. Probably because I am one, and if I know you I’m basically an oversized lap dog with more intense behaviors and instincts.
I wish I could transform and run into the forest right now. Not deal with people, maybe hunt a deer or two. Aaa that sounds amazing. I’m just sitting in the coffee shop right now. I had an iced mocha and a chocolate chip cookie. Now I’m just vibing listening to music and talking to my mate on discord. I love my mate, and my werewolf music playlist.

just ponder for moment here .
remember even when first play minecraft , could not settle for just one single house with every survival function - craft , smelt , enchant , etc . of course always useful to have some spare furnaces and crafting tables on hand in that house , but always like to have separate buildings for some of these things too .
and as minecraft grow more and more in scope , like ... there is less and less way to cram all of these things into one single house , unless decide to build mega mansion . which some people do and have fun with that , but that never really suit kossai .
there was time when one simple chest storage room was actually good enough . those days long , long gone . so instead prefer to build up new little storage areas by theme for particular blocks . feel like remember , navigate , and enjoy better that way than if was to have one mega storage room with redstone auto sorter . more convenient , maybe , but less fun .
there is so much to do now , so much to play with - no need to dip into every single one , but should at least play with these funny little toys in ways that enjoy most .

so , this world ... is really really fun again . some time away and then new extremely inspirational videos ( vampires SMP ) really kickstart this love again .
have set up to play creative-survival hybrid : love to faff around and build , but build alone is not really enough to keep attention . need more reasons for things to exist in world , and also really like to just explore . but really hate build in survival mode , and also do not find fun to just fly through places in creative - so need both to have most fun !
hermitcraft videos fun and inspirational in own ways , but just not really into all of this megabase mega storage stuff personally , or big industrial farms . like , not as if have other players in this world to trade with , and not as if need huge bulk resources when build mostly in creative anyway . instead , what really like is lots of little buildings - like , well , village !
so , for everything that make , want to also think about practical purpose - some kind of storage or survival usage . make tailor shop months ago , and hey , start to use lots of fun custom banner designs - that would be good place to put all those away in . or like make decorative wine barrel storage , but realise actually lack potion storage ... great place to put those , right ? and by perfect coincidence , already set that up right across from potion brewery !
also set up proper to-do list in planify , which is like . so good for brain . can keep track of things that want to do and always have that inspiration on hand ...
but also , if really really frustrate with village , can fly off somewhere else and set up little minibase there . maybe want to keep eye on that human village , or want to explore these cool ruins or trial chambers , or really whatever . experiment with different builds and ideas in these places , and then just ... return when ready . xaero's map mod is also really nice for this - can mark anything , anywhere , at any time .
think would be cool to also properly revamp some of those human villages - natural generations , that is - especially ones closest to main court territory , but that is more just for roleplay and creative flair so not highest priority right now . have big island to work from still , and that is even after literally cut through land with 2 custom rivers !
also have litematica now , so with some fiddle around , can easily paste in towers as see fit ! also figure out some fun ways to decorate these towers , but want to do that uniquely for each one , so schematic is just blank version . ( this also give power to use schematics other people make , but less interest in that right now . )

So much anger
I really need to be wary of reading fanfics about certain sources when I'm tired or otherwise emotionally compromised, because... wow.
There are some really excellent works in this fandom, and although they may not be part of my canon, when they play on the same themes and plot beats those same emotions surge forward.
Tonight I'm furious with L'manberg again. How dare they, how FUCKING dare they. That was *my* home, *my* people, and then they came in and ruined it. They had the gall to demonize me and propagandize so much that my own best friends turned on me later and my orthocosm-self bought (some of) their lies too.
It makes a good story, but it's one of complete and total heartbreak for me.
(Damn, Airrec is a good author.)
